Description
For our customer we are looking for a Front End developer for smaller Business Intelligence implementation project within the Microsoft BI stack and experience within Cognos.
The project objective is to deliver a number of metrics that are important to enable effective expansion within the company. The solution is under construction on as a data warehouse platform with a complex integration landscape.
Your task will be to design and develop BI analysis as well as reports that meet business needs. You will participate in requirement discussion with business and expects to be able to translate business needs into solutions in presentation layer.
The project team will consist of four people and you will work in an agile framework together with requirements analyst, solution designer and developer.
Your main areas of responsibilities will be:
Development of cubes in MS BI
Development of cube reports in MS Excel
Information modelling
Design of BI analysis and reports meeting business needs

Participating in requirement and design meetings
Required skills
Extensive knowledge in Transact SQL
Several years of experience of development in MS SQL Server
Several years of experience of MS BI suite, with deepest knowledge in development with SSAS.
Experience Datamodelling

Experience of Cognos development
Experience of retail
Experience and knowledge of Agile methods is appreciated
Experience with Subversion is a plus
