Oracle DBA
Oracle DBA required by Whitehall Resources for a 12 month contract based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Candidates will be required to Manage Oracle Applications and Databases, Upgrade Oracle Applications and Databases and Provide Disaster recovery support for databases (Minimizing downtime to less than three hours).
Required Experience & Technical Skills:
* Experience: 5+ years with Oracle ERP databases with a minimum of 4 implementations
* Experience in managing Oracle databases, particularly must be highly experienced in database backup and recovery, performance tuning, and high availability configuration
* Must have experience with Oracle 11G database administration
* Must have experience in managing Oracle Data Guard, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Oracle RMAN
* Must have experience in Oracle Grid Control
* Must have experience in managing Oracle Application Servers
* Extensive experience in managing MS SQL databases and experience in MS SQL 2008
* Must be experienced with managing Oracle products on Solaris OS. Must be highly experience with Unix Shell Scripting
* Advanced knowledge in database security knowledge is required
* Should be familiar with data migration tools
