Description
FullStack Java developer required for a contract role in Luxembourg.
Position Purpose:
Responsible for providing analytical and technical support on applications and projects based on operational, client and market requests. To perform research analysis, design and implementation of IT projects in order to enhance competitive edge or reduce costs, liaising with project teams to provide estimates and to support System and User Acceptance testing. To provide support and maintain the various systems and ensure maximum availability for the business users.
Key Accountabilities:
- Analysis of Business Requirements
- Work with Solution Architects and Developer Lead to design the solution
- Write Software Requirements Specifications
- Code and unit test the target solution, taking into account functional and non-functional requirements
- Write TDD
- Support Testing and fix defects
- Provides input to QA for test scenario preparation
- Provide input and documentation for QA and Production releases
- Support release implementation
- Provide application support (third level) and maintenance of existing applications for all components that are application related (code, application configuration, specific application environment setup)
- Design and maintenance of technical guidelines

- Experience with frameworks like Struts, Hibernate & Spring
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SQL and Oracle PL/SQ
- Good knowledge of Eclipse IDE, Toad, CVS, RTC
- Good knowledge of WebSphere Application Server, jBoss
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) in Java and Web Developments
- Experience with XML and Web technologies: XSL, XSLT, Javascript, CSS, HTML,
- JAXB, Servlets
- Knowledge of SOA, Tapestry and Acegi frameworks and JSP is an asset
- Java J2EE - Expert level
- Design Pattern

- SOAP, Spring, Maven
- Oracle SGBD
- Unix, Windows
- Java Development on IBM WebSphere platform
