Experience Required:
1. Support the management of provision of the ITE (Independent Technical Evaluation) support (currently QinetiQ/ATEC) to the Typhoon and Release to Service (RTS), including maintaining and updating Reviewing Of New ATEC RTS Recommendations (RONAR) database as required by the Typhoon Programme.
2. Liaising with QinetiQ over the Typhoon RTS programme includes setting RTS delivery milestones, arranging DOORS support resource and ITE scheduling.
3. Manage the Typhoon RTS RONAR activities ensuring adequate training and giving guidance and Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) support to desk officers during RONAR reviewing period.
4. Review the Typhoon RTS deliverable requirements in accordance with the tasks identified in the Typhoon Capability Integration Plan and Typhoon 1 Gp Priority list.
5. Progress Typhoon RTS amendment requirements to the priorities of the Release to Service Authority (RTSA), Engineering Authorities (EA) or Letter of Airworthiness Authority (LoAA) and Teams programme, and by co-ordinating and supporting qualification evidence and independent assessment advice.
6. Support the review the Tornado RTS Safety Programme Plan and LI-005 and support the improvement to the defined configuration baseline through involvement in the internal modification management procedures.
7. Prepare and draft of Tornado RTS text prior to authorisation by the relevant Design Airworthiness delegate and RTSA, supported by appropriate RTS Supplementary Safety Assessment statements and audit trail documentation.
8. Support the monitoring of the Typhoon and Tornado RTS document amendments as they develop for any impact on the supporting ADS, including the Operator Data Manual (ODM) and resolving with Engineering Authorities and publication sponsors any inconsistencies that may arise as a result of the amendments.
9. Identify and entry of RTS amendment tasks onto the Tor-RTS or Typh-RTS databases. Recording progression of clearance activities on the databases.
10. To assist and provide support to the Export Oman RTS Support requirements.
