Role:
Software Engineers in Test joining our scrum teams will build software that tests software either by coding or integrating third party tools into our test suites. The test role requires you to have a strong focus on robust and reliable applications in and out its explicit intended use. Thus you are expected to play a role in managing and challenging specifications as well as understanding design aspects of the software solutions.
Requirements:
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Relevant experience in test code development (Unit and Acceptance) with C# or other OO programming languages.
- Ability to lead by example and showcase best practices, frameworks and tools.
- Thorough knowledge of common test patterns, methods and abstractions.
- Acquainted with performance testing concepts, strategies and system integration.
- Proven experience in software testing
- Software development experience (C# preferred)
- English proficiency.
The following skills would be a plus:
- Acquainted with agile development practices (especially Scrum)
- Degree in Software Engineering or related field.
- Mobile development/testing exposure.
- Experience in performance testing.
- Experience in continuous integration.
- Experience leading and influencing developers and testers.
- Security testing acquaintance.
- BDD frameworks.
