Description
Duties & Responsibilities to include:
- Design and maintain comprehensive application test cases and procedures for both the core platform and individual client requirements
- Document and track defects and enhancements using the tracking tool JIRA
- Test the business logic and user interface of client websites
- Perform functional and non-functional testing
- Responsible for the end-to-end QA effort for application(s) releases
- Work with client and third-party teams to complete integration and end-to-end functional testing
- Liaise with challenging Key Stakeholders and the rest of the project delivery team
- Suggest updates and improvements to the product and processes
Candidate Advantages:
Experience on automation tools (Selenium Web driver)
Fluent in Java
Understanding of Spring framework
Understanding of Page Object Model / Page Factory
Maven experience
Skills to include:
- Good understanding of eCommerce systems
- Experience of testing web applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- ISEB / ISTQB qualification preferred
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle in a commercial environment
- Basic working knowledge of Linux / UNIX shell commands
- Understanding and experience with writing SQL queries for verification
- Understanding of HTML, XML, JSPs, JavaScript
- Commercial experience working in an Agile methodology (desirable)
- Proven track record of working closely with Developers and Managers
- Evidence of test planning, prioritisation and test controls
- Good data analysis skills
- A proven track record testing rich UIs and API
