Scala developer - Scala Engineer - Scala Programmer
Scala Developer required to join a company based in South London. The role will involve developing 80% Scala & 20% Java. You'll become a key figure within an Agile development team liaising with Product Managers, BA's, and other stakeholders to iteratively develop software. Naturally, working within an Agile team the Scala developer must be able to work autonomously and have true commitment to collaborative development.
Essential Scala Skills:
- Expertise in Scala
- Familiar with relational databases and optimising queries
- Significant experience using open source technologies (ideally node.js)
- Understanding of designing and maintaining web services (particularly REST)
- Good communication skills are essential
