Wide Area Network - Communication Services - Senior EngineeringFor one of our long term projects at the EU in Brussels we're looking for an experienced Network Engineer with background in WAN and Security. This position is open for freelancers or future Ordina employees.
Activities:
- Design, integration, validation and support of communication services and of IT security in a distributed architecture (interconnected via a WAN), including excellent writing skills in English of advice/analysis documents, reports, technical analysis, operational guidelines and procedures, quality assurance and training
- System migrations
- Operational management tools
- IT security solutions, equipment integration and operation (firewall, encryption, PKI, etc.)
- Open Source OS, software, databases and applications
- Windows OS, software and applications
- Working in a international organisation
Requirements:
- Master Degree in IT or related matter or Bachelor Degree complemented by 5 years of professional practice in IT
- Minimum 7 years of experience
- Certifications: Network and Service Communication related
- Methodologies: Prince2 and/or ITIL
- Protocols: Secure Messaging: SMTP, X400 , S/Mime, PGP, Directory Services: X500/ LDAP/ Active Directory, Samba4, Network Services: OSI and TCP/IP layer 3 and 4, System hardening, PKI, Strong Authentication (Kerberos, Smart cards), Single Sign-on
- Scripting/Programming experience is plus
- Languages: French and/or English
