Description

Moodle Developer required. Moodle Developer required for initial three month contract with Computer People's world renowned client in London. As Moodle Developer you will play a key role in building, developing, maintaining, and configuring the organisations enterprise Moodle environment.

Ideally the Moodle Developer will have a proven track record working within cross-functional teams and have an in depth knowledge of Moodle, PHP, Apache, MySQL, and Linux environments (Red Hat/CentOS).

In addition to a deep understanding of PHP Moodle development, candidates with a background in Moodle Server installation, configuration, and operations support would be highly preferred.

To summarise, the Moodle Developer will have the following skills and experience:

* In depth knowledge of PHP Moodle development and server installs/configuration
* MySQL and SQL queries
* Linux command-line tools (diff, cron, ssh, MySQL, etc.)
* Performance testing tools and development
* Bash
* Git
* Technical operations and network support
* Remote access & troubleshooting tools

As the Moodle Developer will be joining a large and talented team, our client will consider candidates from both a development or operations back-ground, utilising their skills accordingly dependent on their background and expertise.

Alongside strong technical capabilities you must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
