SCCM Application Integrator | Valencia | 9 months | MSI, EXE, APP-V, Powershell
Square One are currently looking for an SCCM Application integrator for a 9 months contract with one of our major clients based in Valencia Spain. The contract will be starting on the 1st of June 2016.
The Successful candidate will suit the following skills and have previous experience of working in such an environment.
Creating, managing, and administering application deployments using Microsoft SCCM 2012 and current branch
- Coordinate all aspects for application packaging, integration and deployment including creation of application configuration document
- Importing MSI, EXE and APP-V packages and creating Task Sequences with complex logic and conditions to automate deployments
- Diagnosis of application installation issues and resolution
- Defining dynamic collection membership
- Defining dynamic collections for application upgrades
- Organizing and managing application deployments and maintaining the package source repository
- Application life cycle management including tracking process
- Incident and service request management
- Providing detailed root cause analysis
- Improve processes and documentation
- Windows update rollout, including 3rd party applications
- Managing applications in software center and application catalogue
- Creating configuration items, baselines with PowerShell
- Work autonomously
- Experience and Knowledge
- At least 4+ years of experience in application life cycle management
- Diagnosis of application installation issues and resolution
- Creation and management of dynamic collection membership
- Extensive knowledge of MSI, EXE and App-V deployments
- Experience with desktop migration projects
- Expert level in windows desktop troubleshooting
- Strong troubleshooting skills of application deployment through SCCM
- In-depth knowledge of SCCM and MSI logs
- In-depth knowledge of testing and piloting of software applications
- Familiarity with windows registry
- Microsoft SCCM 2012 Certification desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Orca to read MSI and MST files
- Experience with App-V sequencer and XML files
- Advanced Scripting experience with PowerShell
- Experience with BMC ITSM, Remedy or similar technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Experience with Intune or MDM is desirable
- The consultant may be requested to provide stand-by' services during weekends, holidays and outside of the normal working hours
