Description
Summary:- Looking for a virtualization engineer with emphasis on Citrix, to join rapidly expanding virtualization sales engineering team.
- Candidate will work closely with enterprise and commercial sales teams designing and architecting Citrix and virtualization solutions for clients.
- Citrix architecture design, configuration, and deployment in medium to large environments
- Primary responsibilities include performing project---based engineering, design, installation and troubleshooting of virtual server and desktop workloads
- Manage technical sales engagements with clients related to Citrix and/or VMWare technologies
- Provide network engineering consulting services, including: assessment, design and implementation of Citrix NetScaler technology
- Assist clients through planning, design and implementation of virtual desktop and application delivery solutions
- Develop comprehensive architecture visuals and related documentation in both pre-sales and post-sales capacity
Job Requirements:
- XenDesktop 7.x, 7.5 or higher preferred
- Thorough understanding of both MCS and PVS
- Working knowledge of how to deploy master images in both MCS and PVS
- VMware knowledge working with snapshots and how they pertain to Citrix
- Experience with Citrix catalogs and delivey groups
- XenApp experience is also preferred
- Experience with NetScaler preferred
- Familiar with hypervisor technologies such as VMware and Hyper---V
- Experience working with clients supporting 1,000+ users
- Solid troubleshooting skills
- Solid communication skills

- Dynamic presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- Ability to demonstrate ROI benefits of new technology investment
- Certified Citrix Engineer in XenDesktop
- Certified Citrix Engineer in Netscaler
- Certified Citrix Engineer in XenApp
- VMWare platform background
- Strong Windows background
- 5+ years of Citrix experience, including configuring, analysing & troubleshooting
- 3+ years of Pre---Sales engineering and/or consulting experience
