I am recruiting for are a big European organisation, who are looking for a DBA to work on a large project in Europe. A database administrator will be unifying various databases over the course of 2 years so all the relevant information can be accessed through one central database. You will be installing, maintaining and servicing the existing database.

Experience:

Manages database configuration including installing and upgrading software and maintaining relevant documentation.

Experience of at least 5 years in NOSQL Databases

Contributes to the setting of standards for database objects and ensures conformance to these standards.

Monitors database activity and resource usage.

Draft and maintains procedures and documentation for databases.

Optimises database performance and plans for forecast resource needs.

Knowledge:

• Mid Technical training
• ITIL Foundation Certified
• English Language
• Strong Technical experience in Installation, configuration, upgrade, administration, monitoring and maintenance of MongoDB 3.0 on Linux (SLES).

Location: The Hague, Netherlands

Length: 2 year contract
Rate: €400-€450 per day D.O.E
