DBA,Database Administrator, Oracle, oracle 11g, Contract

I am recruiting for are a big European organisation, who are looking for a DBA to work on a large project in Europe. A database administrator will be unifying various databases over the course of 2 years so all the relevant information can be accessed through one central database. You will be installing, maintaining and servicing the existing database.

Experience:
  • Manages database configuration including installing and upgrading software and maintaining relevant documentation.
  • Experience of at least 5 years in Oracle Databases
  • Contributes to the setting of standards for database objects and ensures conformance to these standards.
  • Monitors database activity and resource usage.
  • Draft and maintains procedures and documentation for databases.
  • Optimises database performance and plans for forecast resource needs.
    • Knowledge:
    • ITIL Certified
    • English Language
    Strong Technical experience in Installation, configuration, upgrade, administration, monitoring and maintenance of Oracle DATABASES 11g on Linux (SLES) including High Availability and Mission critical environments (Oracle RAC)

    Location: The Hague, Netherlands

    Length: 2 year contract
    Rate: €400-€450 per day D.O.E
