Working as part of Business Intelligence (BI) team to analyze, design and develop a new cloud based data warehouse using Amazon Webservice technologies.
Key activities will include the configuration of replication software to extract data from source and load it into AWS Redshift database, transform and load the data into a set of data marts that will be used to provide a data source for the Portal's web services.
Reporting to the BI Project Manager and working with a variety of project stakeholders.
Essential requirements
Extensive ETL development and testing experience, specifically Talend.
5+ years ETL development and testing experience.
Demonstrable knowledge of data warehousing principles and dimensional modelling.
Advanced SQL.
Highly Desirable requirements
Familiar with Amazon Webservices technologies
Knowledge and expertise of SAP Business Objects Data Services
Awareness of other developments in the wider data warehousing technology
