We are looking for a Security Consultant to work with the team for a large financial sector customer. You will be involved in implementation of Splunk Enterprise Security solution.
Skills & Experience:
- Hands on experience in the implementaiton, installation, configuration and support of Splunk Enterprise Security
- Experience in creating the dashboards, alerts, emails and data displays in Splunk
- Experienced with data normalisation, Splunk technical add-on/app development, and the Common Information Model
- Knowledge of all of the following areas: IT/IS Governance/Operational Models, Organisational Transformation, Demand & Portfolio Management, Process Maturity/Control, Performance Management Dashboards & KPI's, Security Monitoring, Vulnerability Management, Security Architecture, Threat Intelligence, Risk and Compliance Management, PCI DSS and ISO 27001.
- In depth knowledge of at least one core IS area (Risk and Controls; Security Architecture; Security Monitoring; and Vulnerability and Compliance) and knowledge of the relevant tools ie Splunk or Qualys...
- Understands how to apply technology to improve the operational effectiveness or efficiency of specific functions or applications.
- Design and optimisation of IT security processes to industry recognised good practices.
- Expertise knowledge in IT security best practice, solutions and training.
- Certification: Splunk Enterprise Security (Desired)
