Senior DevOps Engineer
A Senior DevOps Engineer is required for an ASAP start with a major client in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The Senior DevOps Engineer will have the following skills and experience -
- 3 years' + experience in a similar role
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of UNIX environments and bash Scripting
- Knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript, JavaEE, are a plus
- Knowledge of and experience with distributed computing are also a plus
- Enthusiasm to learn new skills and technologies working on an innovative platform
- Excellent personal communication skills
- Fluency with the English language
- Comfortable working in both a structured and formal way but also agile
- Comfortable working under pressure
- Knowledge of financial markets products, risk management is a plus
- Experience with functional and technical application management (ITIL) is preferred
- Application Management experience including tooling (Jira, etc)
- Close interaction with development engineers as well as end users, stakeholders, product owners
- Troubleshooting production issues
- Maintaining environments
- Working on IT automation work
- Comfortable working with Scrum methodology
