Description
We are looking for a SAS specialist to join an accomplished team based in Brussels. This role has come about as the team are looking to expand their SAS expertise.
We really need someone who's interested in this as a long term project (we do not wish to reinvest every 6 months)
Person needs to:
Act as a senior SAS analyst/developer
Javascript, Linux, Oracle & Sybase knowledge is an advantage
Own capabilities on existing (& complex) SAS based application
Structured approach for complex situations/applications
Interact with other parts of the business who might challenge you
Be part of a very motivated team focusing on professionalism, high quality & on-time delivery
Nice to haves from someone
Someone who's able to act autonomously
Availability and flexibility
Good communication skills - open mindset and team work
Languages (English + Dutch or French speaking but understanding of the other Belgian local language)
You'll need to be onsite in Brussels for the duration of the contract and you'll be expected to go for a face to face meeting for the interview. We have slots open on Thursday and Friday this week. It will be a one stage interview and if positive the head of BI has the final say on the hire.
This is not just a SAS developer role but someone who can do the analysing as well.
There are currently 6 people in the team but they only have one person experienced in SAS and they want to expand this as the workload is getting overwhelming.
It will be a 3 month rolling contract
