CCA Finance Business Partner/Analyst

Background:

The redress and remediation programme is a project set up to look at the compliance issues the bank faces.

There are several issues across multiple products which the bank has to fix and also consider remediating customers for their loss.

Provision calculations have been set up to cover any redress and remediation costs.

This is a high profile project in a fast paced environment and the role is to work on the CCA Loans part of the programme.

The role:

We are looking for a general all round Finance Business Partner/Analyst who is willing to be hands on and use their own initiative. They will become a Subject Matter Expert on the CCA project especially around redress issues.

Excellent excel skills required - Macro and VBA experience and skills are required for complex models that require regular updates.

FS experience is required - to understand complex issues around charging interest, statement dates and impact of redressing customers

Attention to detail is important. They will also be involved in financial reconciliations for CCA redress payments.

Tasks include:

- Responsible for owning and updating CCA models and calculations

- Assessing and validating redress calculations

- Ensure the customer outcome is correct relative to the redress criteria and the CCA.

- Maintain and set up appropriate controls to mitigate risks relating to calculations

- Provide guidance and support for the design of Bespoke redress calculators on complex accounts
