Senior Marketing Consultant (Fin Serve/Banking)
Duration: Initially 4 months with possible extensions
Location: London (potential travel within UK)
Exclusive and Exciting Opportunity: Sopra Steria Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior Marketing Consultant (with banking industry experience) to work in London, supporting our internal Financial Services Sector, to deliver marketing plans and campaigns to support the sector business strategy. This contract is for initially 4 months, with potential extensions.
You will create sector marketing strategy and plans in line with the business strategy and within allocated budget. Create and deliver campaigns and demonstrate ROI on all activities. Offer expert advice to the sector on best practice marketing activities.
In addition, you will build relationships with all key stakeholders across the sector and end client. Prioritisation, planning, collaboration and a team player is key.
Essential Skills
- Good understanding of best practice marketing in the Financial Services sector
- Good banking industry experience/knowledge
- Experience in delivering marketing activities to support sector strategy
- Creating marketing strategy and plans
- Developing and delivering marketing campaigns
- Good knowledge of marketing tools and techniques including the use of social media
- Financial Services experience in an IT services arena
- Ability to work with multiple levels of people - key stakeholders, team and agencies
- To cope under pressure and work to tight timescales
Desirable Skills
- Awareness of market trends and competitive activity in the Financial Services Market
- Stakeholder management both internally and with clients and agencies
- Experience in dealing with crisis comms.
The successful candidate must be willing to undergo a basic clearance process.
