eCommerce & Marketing Coordinator-Initial 12 Month Contract-Bracknell-£12.86ph

Our Client, a Global Technology company, is seeking a eCommerce & Marketing Coordinator to be based in Bracknell on an initial 12 Month contract.

We are currently looking for a new eCommerce & Marketing Coordinator to join the Business Services & Commercial Excellence Organisation.

Summary of role
Manage product portfolio content and generating and updating of general website content and promotions
Plan, define and implement website changes and functional improvements
Compliance, testing and on-site performance optimisation including SEO
Monitor key performance indicators on the website suggesting ways to improve them including changes to product portfolio mix to address non-working inventory

The role will work within an E-commerce team of five:
eCommerce Development Manager (P&L ownership, Strategic direction & Growth, Efficiency, Account management & development)
eCommerce Marketing Executive (Digital Marketing, Operations lead, Account management internally, Business process optimisation, Reporting)
eChannels Web Development Manager (Systems maintenance and development, reporting outputs and automation projects, Systems harmonisation)
eMarketing Apprentice (Stock support, Social Media, e-mail marketing, on-site promotions)

Key Experience & Skills required

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Adobe Suite, CMS platforms and Microsoft Office experience especially Excel.
Previous experience of website or E-commerce CMS
Computer literate and understanding of web technologies (FTP, browsers, HTML & CSS, data files)
Numerically confident, Familiar with data management and manipulation
Basic understanding of Google products such as Webmaster Tools & Analytics would be desirable
Experience of Magento
Internal customer service skills and use of order management/customer fulfilment/dispute resolution in an E-commerce context
Understanding of the disciplines required to drive traffic to retail websites (ppc, email marketing, link generation, online pr, SEO, offline marketing and pr, affiliate programmes, etc)

Detailed responsibilities would include:

Website content administration

Update product information and content on the website
Update content managed areas and functional areas of website
Investigate and report any operational/technical issues arising
Scope and document ongoing website functional projects/improvements
Liaise with internal resources regarding the day to day management of the website and product portfolio
Evaluate approaches & strategies to improve website sales conversions & customer engagement

Marketing & Analytics

Investigate, evaluate and assess new ways of generating additional traffic/orders: Affiliates
Liaise with Affiliate marketing agency and in-house teams to implement and support campaigns
Implement banners, images, promotions etc for display on the website
Produce reports to analyse the performance of site activity, online marketing campaigns and promotions (via reports, analytics, surveys etc)
