Your tasks:
- Develop control algorithms for embedded controllers
- Implement control algorithms using Assembly and C programming languages
- Develop MISRA C compliant code
- Assist in developing hardware/software test plans
- Oversee laboratory testing
- Investigate and evaluate new technology
- Perform benchmark of competitor product
- Occasional OEM customer interaction
Your qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering Technology with profound software development experience using C software for embedded controllers
- Knowledge of CAN and LIN communication protocols and diagnostics
- Ability to interpret circuit schematics
- Understanding of automotive EMC requirements
- Motor control experience (permanent magnet brushed DC motors, DC stepper motors)
- Strong "hands-on" experience in electrical and software testing
- Understanding of safety critical systems design
- Working knowledge of MISRA C and ISO 26262 functional safety requirements
- Low level driver design skills
