Description
IT - Production Second Level Support wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of proven working experience as second level support as well as 3+ years of experience working in IT ideally in a financial sector
- Expertise in IT customer service and problem management resolution
- Solid working experience in a service orientated environment as well as knowledge of complex troubleshooting in a mission critical production environment
- Proficiency in Unix as well as experience with SQL querying (Oracle / Microsoft SQL)
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be a big plus
Your tasks:
- Establishing and supervising multi-functional teams during disruptions of customer service, configuration management, deployment of new feature and implementation of new product
- Upgrading codes independently as well as preparing constant suggestions for process improvement
- Comprehending multiple subject matter areas of responsibilities along with analyzing and scripting best practices within subject matter areas of expertise
- Sustaining and filing standard operating procedures as well as troubleshooting highly technical issues
- Providing day-to-day 2nd Level technical support on broad various software applications in addition to identifying knowledge, performance and quality gaps within the team
- Assuring that incidents having an adverse impact are accurately escalated and resolved as well as applying software application improvements, including monitoring and automation
