Enterprise Architect - 6 Month Contract, Brussels, Dutch/French & English Speaker

- Minimal Languages: Dutch or French speaking with a good knowledge of the second national language and English
Seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to work for a major Belgian corporation based in Brussels - you will be building a sound, consistent and efficient IT and process architecture for the business:
- Enterprise Architect willhave worked in different projects or environment
- Experience as Technical analyst, Functional analyst, Business analyst or similar
- Knowledge of different analyse techniques (Use cases, scenario building, ...)
- Knowledge of different notations and methodologies BPMN, UML, Archimate
- Broad experience with different kind of technologies.
- The successful Enterprise Architect will onstruct and maintain a knowledge base to align the business processes and IT-architecture/applications of the company;
- Perform methodological and detailed examinations of the as-is situation and document this in the knowledge base;
- Analyse the needs and requirements of the business stakeholder to detect the GAP in the AS-IS and mitigate in time the issues and risks for the TO-BE architecture;
- Be part of the overall future vision on architecture within the company: define short, mid and long term strategies and vision to guide the program and project leaders in successful delivery of their projects;
- Enterprise Architect will be informed by visiting the suppliers forums within their domain or technology stack;
- Perform quality checks on the knowledge base
- Build an IT-vision and IT-strategy, in strong collaboration with business and IT. Define preferred and allowed technologies and standard business models throughout the organization as Standards and Guidelines;
- Assess project demands from business process perspective, IT- and technology perspective with reference to IT's vision and strategy. If necessary, propose adaptations, modification and changes;
- Monitor the life cycle of applications/solutions and propose actions to maintain a healthy IT-architecture;
- Check alignment of IT on the business processes (performance and efficiency gains);
- Help to define Standards, Guidelines and tool sets (common language based on international accepted standards like BPMN, Archimate and UML);
- Guide project analysts in the defined templates and check their deliverables on quality, completeness, conformity with set standards and consistency with other projects all in line with the IT-vision and IT-strategy;
- Assist concerned architects, developers, etc in modelling the architecture environment based on house-language rules;
- Work together with the business matter experts and communicate outcomes on C-level;
- Enterprise Architect will take active part in Architecture Boards and Architecture Review panels.
