Our client, is an innovative energy supplier in Belgium, providing energy and energy related products and services to both households and businesses. We have the ambition to become the number one data-driven energy retailer. To join us along the path towards this ambition, we are looking for several senior Data Developers.Responsibilities Data developer:
- Implement the data platform and refine the data model;
- Develop reports, dashboards, cubes & visualizations;
- Refine and estimate Product Backlog items;
- Discuss & challenge business requirements;
- Develop ETL scripts between source systems and data platform;
- Assist with the migration of data;
Technical skills Data developer:
- Several years of hands-on experience in B.I. & analytics;
- Experienced data modeler (Kimball, Inmon, Lambda architecture, …);
- Working with large and diverse data formats and database systems (SQL and NoSQL);
- Embrace the Agile way-of-working (Scrum, LeSS, …);
- Broad familiarity with Cloud & Open Source technologies (JasperSoft, Pentaho, Talend, Hadoop/Hortonworks, AWS, Hive, Pig, Spark, STORM, YARN, …);
- General object oriented programming skills (Java, Python, Ruby, …); 0
Personal skills Data developer:
- Experience with the energy retail sector is a definite plus, but not a must;
- Excellent knowledge of English, knowledge of Dutch is an asset;
