Office & Manual Installed App Manager for global Windows 10 migration project - Pharmaceutical - Spain

For our global pharmaceutical client we are looking for Windows10 Office & Manual Installed App Manager to work in a beautiful and sunny Spain.

Your main tasks:

Define detailed scope, timeline and testing procedure for Office & Manual Installed Apps

Ensure the provisioning process of test clients to the Application Owners

Responsible for the handover of the required information to the Application Clearing team in case of issues or a required modification

High-level test coordination based on the results of scope, timeline and testing procedure

QA of master data and provisioning of weekly reports to Portfolio Manager

Liaison with Portfolio and Release Manager for Windows client requirements and problems

It is expected from the candidate that the data quality for the assigned applications are valid, accurate and up to date. Candidate is able to support the business functions and the nominated Change Coordinator in the different business functions by conceptional paperwork, to enable the Business Application Owner to test independently and ensure compatibility until planned migration cycles.

During Initiate and Define phase, candidate is expected to concept the procedure how to clear the Office and Manual Installed apps for the new platform.

During the Testing phase, the candidate acts as single point of contact for the assigned applications as interface between Change Coordinator and Win10+ project.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Conceptional work (design process & communication to stakeholder)

Work closely together with the other members inside the application readiness workstream

Ensure the testing is executed in the planned timelines

Coordinate all testing activities with the assigned business partner for this app category

Ensure that all Office apps and manual installed apps can be tested on the target platform

Management reporting and escalation

Preparation and follow-up of escalations

SPOC for all requests in this application category

Liaison with the Portfolio and Release Manager for Windows client requirements and issues

Contribute to the communication regarding testing and remediation

Help managing the Project Stream mailbox (review, assign, label e-mails as required)

Ensure database for this app category is up-to-date

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in migration/deployment projects (eg rollout projects), preferably as Business Analyst/Project Manager and ideally in the app readiness area

Solid technical understanding of OS, MS Office apps and manual installation processes

Working independently and proactive, used to work without direct supervision

Structured way of working with a strong focus on teamwork.

Experience in virtual, international team settings Good communicator, able to connect to different stakeholders on different levels. Able to create a fast working relationship with the change director, application owners and the engineering team.

ITIL Foundation certification or relevant experience in Service Management

Business-fluid in English, both verbally and in writing
