Description
We are working with an exciting consultancy who have a long term project with their client based in Edinburgh. This opportunity is for an experience Digital Business Analyst working in financial services. Applicants with a background in financial services and experience of Sitecore would be preferred.
Main duties:
- Manage functional requirements life cycle from capture, validation, verification, and through to sign-off during UAT.
- Work directly with clients using your experience to identify and implement a suitable strategy in order to, elicit, analyse, document, validate and verify their requirements and to provide high quality advice and deliverables.
- Conduct discovery workshops.
- Develop requirements specifications and project scope of works, according to standard templates.
- Work with clients during test/acceptance phases to clarify issues.
- Work closely with the technical architects and developers in order to ensure correct 'translation' of the business requirements.
Essential Skills:
- Experience in business analysis and/or business process improvement and/or business change management
- Proven experience using analytical tools like flow charts, use cases etc.
- A good understanding of the digital landscape and digital best practices
- CMS experience (in particular Sitecore)
- Understanding of user experience best practices, web and accessibility standards.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent interviewing, questioning and requirements' gathering skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in financial services
- Professional qualifications in business analysis
- Experience working in/with digital agencies.
- Experience across Axure, Balsamiq, Visio, OmniGraffle or Lucid Charts
- Experience working with Jira
