They are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Senior Web Creative, who can contribute to create and build innovative designs for interactive mediums, including websites, mobile applications, video and social. You'll be working on high profile projects and the latest new technologies.
Strong execution skills are as important as strong conceptual skills. You will need an appetite for digital design (including mobile) but also have a flair for Front End design with a passion to bring it to life. The Position:
The Senior Web Creative is the expert who brings our creative concepts to life. You're a master of web languages, a technology and learning advocate, and a technical expert on the development team. The Senior Web Creative is the Front End go-to person for any team. Your expertise will be sought in requirement assessments, technical implementation planning and best practices development. You're a solutions led person who provides accurate estimates and completes their projects on time. You work hand in hand with the development team, creative team and project managers to bring clients' digital marketing visions to life.
Responsibilities:
- Rapid prototyping with code, using modern Front End frameworks and a digital pattern library
- Deliver solutions balancing technical and creative requirements. Experience has taught you what works. Your long history in the game helps you choose the best mix of proven and cutting-edge technology.
- Interacting with project teams to understand business and user requirements
- Maintaining high coding standards and practices and exercise quality control on all aspects of web development
- Breaking new ground, researching and implementing innovative web techniques and features
- Problem-solving in all areas of web development
- Working in an Agile environment with cross disciplinary teams
Required Skills:
- 4+ years demonstrated development experience with hand-coding advanced HTML, CSS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience developing with modern Front End frameworks, eg Bootstrap, as well as JavaScript frameworks, eg Ember.js, AngularJS, Backbone.js, React.js
- Demonstrated understanding of Responsive Web Design principles
- Proficiency with cross-browser/cross-platform issues, DOM and web standards
- Experience working with cross-functional and cross-office teams using Agile Methodology
- Experience with CMS in particular Drupal, Sitecore, Umbraco and Magnolia an advantage
- Experience working in a Mac/PC environment
