SAS Java Linux ITIL Mainframe Consultant Brussels Antwerp
1.1Primary Tasks and responsibilities:
*2nd - 3rd level support on SAS platforms on Mainframe and Linux
*Installation/configuration of SAS environments
*Upgrades
1.2Technical requirements
*Knowledge of SAS language
*Basic knowledge of JAVA
*Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating Systems
*Knowledge of Mainframe (JCL) is a plus
1.3Methodology/Certification requirements:
*Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent through experience.
*Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
*Additional certification is a plus
1.4Non-Technical requirements:
*Some flexibility in working hours is required (occasional work outside of normal working hours or weekend/holiday work)
*Strong tracking, coordination and planning skills
*Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision. Ability to work effectively under pressure.
*Quick learner, motivated self-starter
*Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
*Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines.
*Able to work in a global team and in a multiple cultural environment.
*Able to work in an ITIL model based organization.
1.5Language Requirements:
*Local language (French and/or Dutch) + English (mandatory)
