Dating site project:#1) Step one: do an EXACT clone of s eek ngarrangeme nt.com (remove spaces) using http://themeforest.net/item/lovestory-dating-WordPress-theme/ .. So, basically use LoveStory and WordPress and modify it / enhance it so that it’s an exact clone of (se eking arr angement.com) both the front-end and potential backend. Some features will not be an exact clone that the website recently updated when they shouldn’t have. For example, their messaging system they made an AJAX messaging and is dreadfully slow, so ours will be static.
#2) The backend would be expanded to have similar features to skadate and other obvious features that maybe skadate or lovestory do not have, but that a good coder could see would be required after logically looking at the front-end of seekingarrangement.com … http://www.skadate.com/xdemo/sign-in?back-uri=admin is an example of a backend with more features I believe than love story’s default backend.
#3) After the cloning, need someone with an eye for design who can modify things to actually give this a possibly somewhat similar, but completely different “skin” including finding replacement stock images, etc. – CSS, color changes, image changes, and more after an exact cloning.
#4) Needs to work on mobile and web (responsive design). Phase 2 down the line may be iPhone and Android apps, so creating a mobile design that is HTML5-friendly to easily use cordova to create the apps is preferred.
#5) Needs to be setup to scale to hundreds of thousands millions of users, although this is less important right off the bat, it does need to be done – because eventually, that’s the goal.
#6) We can also use Skadate as I have a license for it, but it must be -heavily- modified because it doesn’t look that good out of the box. Love story could be much better to cut down costs and/or development time.
#7) exact clone including “ability to translate” although we can go in phases so we can make the site “live”.
