For our customer we are looking for a C# & Oracle Developer to Market Data
Background
Processes around sourcing, validation etc, of Market Data are not centralized across Nordea. In many respects, each division/department/team is responsible for the Market Data it is using. This results in inconsistencies as well as duplication of work and costs. Data is stored multiple places making it hard for end user to get the data they need.
New solution
The task is to deliver a service that combines the current storages and services so it gets transparent for the end user where to get bond data from.
The solution is to be made in C#. Requirements for the project are not set, and will evolve as the project is ongoing; this project therefore needs a senior developer with knowledge of both C# and Oracle, but experience with RESTful services such as ASP.NET WebAPI and knowledge of FPML will be an advantage. The consultant will have to work onsite together with our Market Data specialists who will set the business requirements, candidates with knowledge of bonds or financial instruments in general will be prioritized. As lot of the documentation regarding our current solution is written in Danish, it is an advantage to understand Danish.
Expected duration is 6 months with possibility of prolonging
