Description
This position is with a large multinational in the financial services sector, based in South Dublin. You will have a key role in developing and implementing modern web UI's for a new proposed strategic platform. You will also be given the opportunity to upskill and learn new technologies, to deliver large scale solutions internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
*High level responsibilities include designing and developing Web UI and related services against an Oracle Back End.
*In addition to delivering new business requirements there is also an opportunity to deliver ancillary components like Unit & Integration Testing framework (Karma, Jasmine, etc.), CI process (Jenkins), etc.
*You should be able - and encouraged - to share best practices, take ownership of deliverables and influence the direction of the target architecture
Technical Skills:
* Passion for creating well structured, beautiful and high performing UIs
* Professional experience in Web UI development and applications
* Java/J2EE ideally or other OO language like .Net, Python, etc.
* Strong technical knowledge of AngularJS, JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 (other JavaScript Frameworks like React, Backbone, Knockout, etc. is a bonus)
* An aptitude to learn and share your experience
* Experience of working within an agile (KANBAN) development
* Technologies that would be desirable but not essential are: Karma and Jasmine, AngularJS. 2.0 (long term strategy), UX Experience, Jira, CSS/CSS3, Jenkins/Hudson/TeamCity
* Continuous Integration, Bootstrap, Json and XML and REST services
