Job Description
- PMO team lead:
o Leads, engages and motivates a team of Project Managers Officers by coaching and developing the PMO assigned employees on professional management skills
o Coaches and guides PMO assigned people to improve on their PGP & Project management methodology skills
o Provides strategic direction by interpretation of business requirements into team and account deliverables
o Clarifies which tasks and results are expected and provides clear instructions concerning the way tasks should be executed and keeps team members focused on targets and corrects them if necessary
o Actively starts up succession planning. Is able to select and decide on hiring of new PMO employees and manages career path of members in the team.
o Is able to organize team structure and meeting rhythm
o Is able to drive, participate, lead & implement cross PMO initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the project management processes and further strengthen our means and methods according PMO roadmap,
o Drives the roll-out and embedding of project (program) standards and processes related to a.o. project planning, stage gate reviews, reporting, metrics, change control and quality
o Drives pro-actively with his/her team world class project management into ASML's culture to enable successful outcomes for product development.
o Pro-actively assist and enable the Project Leaders, Cluster Managers and Product Development managers to do their job: by preparing communication and/or escalations on the issues/risks and the required contingency/mitigation actions to the project sponsor and stakeholders;
o Provides guidance during the financial forecasting (budget) process and proactively assist regular financial management
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years working experience as a hands-on leading PMO/Program Manager for large complex programs and detailed projects, or project management experience in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment, or practical experience as a project manager in a dynamic and innovative high-tech organization.
- Expert knowledge in the area of Project Management in a high-tech environment related to a product creation process.

- In depth understanding of the dynamics of managing projects (gained by experience) is preferred
- Knowledge of or experience with project management methodologies (Peg MBOK, PRINCE2) is preferred
