Oracle Data Architect - 6 month contractMy client, a leader in their field, are looking for an experienced Oracle Data Architect. Working as part of a successful Bi team, the right Oracle Data Architect/OBIEE Developer will be able to hit the ground running, with a proven track record of getting up to speed quickly with different types of architecture.
The existing systems have been going for over 15 years, and they have spent the last 2 years rebuilding it from the ground up. The majority of the work revolves around Oracle BI development, working with the majority of the latest technologies. It covers both the front end and the backend, but gives a great opportunity for the right person to work with some of the newer Oracle systems- Oracle 12c etc. They are happy to look at people with good experience in Oracle Development roles that are interested in getting into the newer frameworks.
Key skills that they are looking for are:
- Experience in architecting, E2E BI Infrastructure strategy, solution design, & delivery.
- Experience in system integration methods, technologies, ELT/ETL toolkits, standards and systems delivery.
- Experience consultant in Business Process analysis, design improvements, knowledge share, research and present best practices. Excellent customer interaction & liaising with solution providers and consultants.
- Excellent data modelling skills which includes PDM UML, ORM, LDM, OLAP, OLTP, MDM & Cubes.
- Experience in BI delivery mechanism, implementing OBIEE, Weblogic Security (AD) & webcat privileges.
- Experience in the following PL/SQL, APEX, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle RMBDS 11g, 12c preferably, Unix and Shell scripting, TOAD, SQL
- Experience in batch and real-time integration using various techniques, tools and methods.
- Experience in data analysis, data migration, data quality improvements, data transformation across different sources.
- Experience in reviewing OBIEE, OBIA implementation and advice BI Strategies, best practices and performance tuning methods.
- Experience in modeling OBIEE RPD, integration with Oracle databases, Teradata, XML, Excel, Flat & CSV Files, Fragmentation, web services & ADF. Experienced in creating Dashboards, Answers, KPIs, BI Publisher reports, regression & UAT.
- Experience in installing & configuring OBIA 7.9.6.x (Informatica, DAC) and OBIA (ODI, Goldengate).
- Experience administration of Oracle Fusion Middleware, ODI, OBIEE, SOA, EDQ, Informatica, DAC, and troubleshooting and issue resolution.
The client are based just outside of Leeds, easily commutable from Leeds City Centre, Bradford, and the West/North sides of Leeds. For the right Architect this will last at least 6 months, potentially longer.
Rate wise they are happy to pay up to £400/day, and re-iterate that they are happy to take people on that are keen to develop their skillset with these new Oracle Frameworks.
