Our direct Fortune 500 client in the greater Cleveland area is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst for a 18 month contract. Our client is looking for excellent communication skills and manual and automation testing experience. This is a great opportunity to work on a highly visible project at one of the largest, most admired IT organizations in the area! Our client is a major insurance company.In this role, the QAAs conduct risk-based testing analysis based on the changes being implemented, write test cases based on the risk-analysis, execute them, and perform retesting of defects and regression testing of the applications. These are technically complex applications written in C#/.NET Resources in these roles are expected to be flexible and handle shifting priorities.
Required:
- Ability to write a test approach/strategy
- Risk-based testing experience
- Experience with manipulating XML to produce test data
- Experience testing C# applications
- Experience using automation tools - Quality Center (QC) and Quick Test Professional (QTP)
- Defect reporting & analysis
- Understanding of SQL and DB2 database services
- Understanding of SQL Queries, Views, and Stored Procedures
Plusses:
- Experience with basic testing types including: Component (Black Box), Security, Usability, Web Services, Mainframe, Database, and Desktop/Client
- Experience with the Framework for Integrated Testing (FIT)
- Insurance industry experience
