Gloss Developer - 12 Month Contract Dublin.
My client a global leader in their business is in need of a talented and experienced Gloss Develpoer to join them on a contract basis for up to 12 months. My client is looking for an experienced developer to work in their Agile team, writing requirements and specification (eg automated tests), developing relationships across the technology and user communities. In addition making sure we are always focusing on delivery of value using exceptional quality. You will be responsible for supporting modern agile software development methods; including educating & mentoring less experienced team members.
My client is looking for the Gloss Developer to have experience in the following areas:-
- SQL, C, Unix
- Solid exposure to working in a development role
- Windows Operating System, Unix Operating System,
- Full project development life cycle
- Proficient communication skills to support and shape the platform and clearly articulate technical designs and concepts
- GLOSS knowledge
- Equity/Debt Back Office & Settlements knowledge
- SQL Server
- Subversion & experience with automated testing tools
- Powerbuilder
- .NET
- Experience with test-driven development and unit testing
- Angular, UX experience, Scala, Java
- Experience of Scrum/Agile methods
- Experience of Specification by Example/BDD
- Follows clean code principles
