Senior Data Scientist / Machine Learning expert (m/f)

Description

• You will be focussing on creating new applications that enrich the user experience of mobile and wearable devices by understanding the context of the user
• You will propose hypotheses and design experiments to obtain suitable data to validate these
• You explore and visualize the data
• You will communicate the knowledge to the team/business
• You will create models that use existing and future data to create business value

• Experience in using scientific methods and empirical research to answer business questions
• Experience with multivariate linear regression analysis and statistical inference models
• Ability to apply supervised and non-supervised machine learning techniques such as clustering, SVM, Random Forests, deep neural networks, bayesian networks, hidden markov models, collaborative filtering etc.
• Experience of using supervised and unsupervised machine learning models on real world problems
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent development skills in one of R, Python/Pandas
• Good knowledge of at least Java and C
• Experience in DynamoDB is a big plus
• Experience in big data analysis and deployment of scalable machine learning algorithms is beneficial
