For a 6 months project at an international bank in Zurich, we are looking for a professionalJava Developer - Order Processing / Regulatory (3721)
For this role, we are looking for a skilled developer to Design and Develop complex applications and External website in support of PRIIPS program following best practices and formal methodologies.
Your qualifications:
- Experience in a team delivering all phases of the systems development lifecycle and broad technology delivery, including custom & website development
- Experience with providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to clients
- Experience with injecting new technology into enterprise systems
- Experience with implementing enterprise level External Websites in a distributed environment (very critical)
- Strong knowledge of Java, JSF, J2EE and Oracle development
- Hands on experience on WebServices, Spring and other Java EE technologies.
- 10+ years' experience in IT software engineering space
- Agile (Scrum) approaches working with JIRA/Confluence etc.
- 7+ years' experience in Banking/Financial Industry: processes: trading & execution, advisory & sales
- Regulatory Banking experience would be an advantage
- Languages: Fluent in English

About the role:
- Implement software covering the project lifecycle, establishing and implementing stringent processes and procedures for designing, developing, testing and promoting code in compliance with company guidelines and industry best practices ensuring a maintainable solution
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Identify critical mission gaps, redundancies, and dependencies aligned with component impacts or costs.
- Ensure high standards and quality of technical solutions, keep abreast of technology developments and drives technology innovation where appropriate
