QA (Test) Engineer Limerick Contract 11 Months.
My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of talented and experienced QA Engineer to join their team on a 11 month contract.
You will be a active participant in an experienced QA Agile Test Team which be part of a tech refresh team moving from Java 6 to Java 7 environment and transitioning the client to an Agile environment. You will have a solid background in Agile methodology. You will also work in a Matrix environment on one or more concurrent projects. The QA engineer will proactively and efficiently create test plans, scenarios and cases as well as execute and communicate functional testing.
Successful candidates will have 5 + years and overall experience in best practice testing, You will have experience in writing end to end test scenarios, test cases, logging defects, reporting and defect analysis. Candidates will have experience with HP Quality Centre, Rational ClearQuest and Atlassian JIRA. Working knowledge of SQL and Unix preferred. Candidates will have experience in using Confluence, JIRA Agile etc and Basic knowledge of Shell script and JavaScript. Experience with Test Automation software would be advantageous.
