SharePoint/IIS/.NET/SQL Server/Engineer/Developer/Wordpress
For our client we are currently looking for a SharePoint Engineer to strengthen their team. The organisation develops and delivers advanced networks and associated e-infrastructure services. They support open innovation and knowledge-sharing amongst their members. You will be responsible for the maintenance of theSharepoint 2013 environment and enable development of new features and functionality.
As a SharePoint Engineer your responsibilities will include:-
o Work with Windows operating system and hardware
o Basic Server administration incl. service packs and hot fixes
o Internet Information Services (IIS) - basic operation of websites, application pools, IIS admin, the IIS Metabase, ports, SSL Certifications
o Miscrosoft SQL Server - Basic operation, tuning, transaction log selection, backup and recovery, and maintenance planning
o Troubleshooting the SharePoint event log
o Debugging Skills and techniques for each of these areas mentioned above
To be considered for this SharePoint Engineer position you must have:-
o Experience with SharePoint Site settings
o Experience with SharePoint Central Administration and Workflows
o Knowledge of SharePoint ULS logs and ULS viewer
o Experience in migrating/upgrading SharePoint sites
o Knowledge .NET
o Experience configuring IIS
o Knowledge of STSADM and PowerShell administration modules
o Experience with web part development, HTML5 development, and acquiring domains and SSL certificates is highly advantageous.
