Your New role :-
2. Job Goals / Mission
I) To have intimate, low-level technical understanding of Smartcard / EMV chip architecture and applications
2) To provide the lead in technical liaisons with customers regarding chip product changes
3) To translate all customer chip requirements Production changes
4) To plan and co-ordinate comprehensive and fully documented testing of EMV chip changes / amendments
5) To actively manage investigations and incidents related to chip issues and to close out and record resolutions and observations
6) To interface and effectively engage Prod IT: Production Services team relating to chip / UPP / Flexiscript / Process ID activities
Responsibilities:
1) To keep up to date with all aspects of the companys Products and EMV technology: architecture, applications, EMV profile, relevant regulatory requirements
2) Bring the companys Product deep technical expertise to sales teams to describe industry application,
benefits and differentiation. Specifically, Banking, Transit Government sectors
3) Providing the companys interface to customer for all EMV chip-related queries, changes and general enquires
4) Understand the technical EMV personalization process and own the quality of the profile
design, key management, implementation of profile programming and testing.
5) Documenting all customer EMV requirements and translation int- an effective, measurable and structured technical plan for roll out and test in production
6) Actively manage EMV investigation and incidents, engage with other departments as required,
provide observations and resolutions
7) To liaise with Key Management team for changes relating to cryptographic keys
8) Environmental Health and Safety.
