6 month- year contract for a MF developer with the recent experience working with PL/1, DB2, IMS, Cobol, and Endevor
Responsibilities:
Coding, testing and analysing application software Support existing business systems applications Partner with business analysts to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions. Design and document moderately complex technical requirements for business applications. Develop operational documents for applications Present application and technical support as necessary Design and document extremely complex technical requirements for business applications. Analyze designs, develop and execute custom application features and functions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field. 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance. 6-9 years of experience as a Mainframe Developer 2+ years of experience in leading complex projects. 5+ years of experience in mainframes with strong PL/1, DB2 & IMS knowledge.
Experience working with Endevor or Endeavor
2+ years of application development experience 2+ years of experience leading a team of 3-4 resources.
Must have experience debugging and fixing issues on PL/1 and
Experience making Mainframe job and program updates and releasing them through Endevor via the CRQ process
Expert level knowledge of the required technologies and software programs
Local candidates preferred. Must be able to pass a 20 year criminal background check.
