Description
We are looking for a hungry, self-motivated, resourceful perl developer for a variety of full-stack projects, from UI to DB, in a hybrid Linux/Windows environment. You'll be working with a small remotely distributed team, so a good telecommuting work environment and responsiveness to communication and coordination needs is essential.
Required skills:
Perl (reasonably fluent and experienced)
Linux command-line utililties, navigation, etc
SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
Ability to take general requirements and sort out the details by experience and communication
Resourcefulness for moving through / around obstacles
Desired skills:
Commercial application development experience
HighCharts
Bash
OOD (Moose), Rose, DBI, Plack
Knowledge of Windows, batch scripts helpful
SVN, Git
BS in Computer Science
Excellent written/verbal communications skills in English
US citizens preferred
