System Dynamics, now part of Deloitte Ireland, has an urgent opening for an experienced Performance Tester to join our Dublin City Centre based team.
Duration 6 months, plus extensions
Section 1 - Responsibilities
- Automating transactions flows for use in repeatable software performance test scenarios in areas such as
- Browser based transactions
- Webservices
- Data Setup transactions
- Injection of transactions using SQL
- Batch program
- Scenario Scripting using UNIX or similar Scripting
- DB and/or file comparisons
- Review functional design specifications.
- Identify and document data requirements for performance testing.
- Execute test criteria.
- Raise defects (SIRs) to development team.
- Document testing process.
Section 2 - Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of Average, Soak and Stress performance testing
- Using Performance Test tools
- Databases & SQL
- Understanding of XML, JSON, JMS, Messaging systems
- All aspects of the System Test Life Cycle
- UNIX or similar Scripting
- Test Data preparation & masking
- Knowledge of Hadoop based technologies
- Using Automation Testing tools
- Strong communication and documentation skills
