My Client, a leading IT company is currently looking for a Testing Professional with an experience in testing API's & Web services. The successful candidate would be involved in large global projects.

Role Description:
Participate as a member of the wider Development team with specific responsibilities in API testing and integration testing.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the QA team testing Back End API Web services
- Work as part of the QA team testing Front End GUI based Web applications
- Create and execute detailed test cases based on a refined backlog of User Stories
- Accurate and detailed, logging and reporting of defects and bugs in the system
- Automating tests where appropriate
- Executing manual tests as required
- Willingness to work in an Agile environment using the SCRUM process
- Attendance and active participation in daily SCRUM meetings
- Collaborate with the development team to help prevent bugs
- Ability to work on own initiative and to self-organize
Experience Required:
- Strong API testing background with experience in technologies such as Rest, JSON, XML, HTTP
- Specific experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS) is a must
- Specific experience using Test Manager is a must
- Automation required (using industry standard tools such as HP UFT, Selenium)
- Manual testing experience desired
- Experience with tools such as SoapUI, Postman, Fiddler and the HP ALM suite
- Experience with database technologies (MS SQL server)
- Some experience in Load and Performance Testing
- Previous mobile testing experience in iOS, Android and Windows Phone an advantage
- ISTQB Certification desired
