Due to an increasing workload on their develop and operations department, they are looking for a freelance devOps engineer to support them in their daily operations.
Job description
As devOps engineer is a pivot position between development and operations, in this company they take it literally: you will literally (read: your office is in the middle) work between their development and operation department.
This team exists of 40 motivated people.
Taks will be:
- Build tools to automate processes.
- Guide the migration from Chef to Puppet.
- Responsible for the application life cycle process.
Profile
- Proven experience (3 years) with Puppet and/or Chef.
- You have awesome scripting skills.
- Knowledge of Debian and/or Ubuntu.
- Operational knowledge of PHP, Java, .NET, NodeJS.
- You are fluent in English.
