Instructor must have at least 2+ years of professional industry experience with digital marketing through social media outlets, preferably in an internationally recognized company.
Instructor to have fluency in the following: Google Analytics, Google AdWords, current social media outlets, paid social media advertising, customer segmentation targeting and tracking, community management, e-mail marketing and branding strategy.
Instructor to have previous teaching experience in marketing/digital marketing acquired through course instruction, team training, tutoring, private lessons etc.
Responsibilities and Duties
Teach and plan a full curriculum/syllabus in web development, five days a week in-person class, for 4 weeks (20 hours of teaching time per week) OR teach two 3-hour part time classes per week for 10 weeks. Employment term will be a 4-6 month contract.
Instructor Qualities
To be able to inspire students through the challenges of learning social media and digital marketing and provide 1-on-1 office hours, and workshops outside of class time. Work closely with provided local facilitators/assistants to provide students with meaningful and prompt feedback on their progress. Guide and mentor students through development of an impressive final project that will showcase their abilities to hiring managers and corporations.
Facilitate a dynamic and collaborative classroom community both inside and outside of the classroom.
