Description

My global client is looking for a Service Desk Analyst for an initial 3 - 6 month contract for their main IT hub based near Colchester. Reporting to the Service Desk Manager this role will provide 1st line support of incidents, problems, service requests etc with prompt escalation to 2nd/3rd line if first contact resolution is not possible.
My client is looking for someone with previous Service Desk experience with a confident phone manner with the ability to identify whether an incident can be resolved or passed on. They're looking for experience supporting Windows XP, Windows 7 operating systems, Office application software, active directory etc. Experience working with ServiceNow or similar is very helpful as is experience working in ITIL environments.
