IPTV Services Engineer - Brussels, Belgium - Contract - UK/EU Nationals only
This job is an opportunity to work in the Media Services within the team that is responsible for the in-home equipment (WIFI bridges, PLC, WIFI in the STB, etc..) The team mission is to ensure delivery of the same quality with those equipment as with a fixed Ethernet connection and this for all IDTV services.
Job is focussed on increasing the quality of the end-to-end IDTV service by ameliorating the in-home situation based on WIFI bridges - PLC and other in-home equipment.
You will have to understand the TV Video end-to-end infrastructure.
You will work together with team members and share knowledge to develop a pragmatic and efficient testing method and environment that simulates real home situation to predict issues and find proactively solutions for it.
If a structural issue pops up you will define a setup to simulate this in the lab.
It's expected that you take the lead by documenting the tests, defining the test templates and guiding the test team.
