OpenText Extended ECM for SAP Solutions
Installation, configuration, deployment and testing of an end-to-end Extended ECM solution (to include only Archive Server, Content Server, ABAP add-ons) with relevant business work spaces and references related to areas of Sales & Production Planning (PP)
OpenText Imaging Viewer & DesktopLink
Setup & configuration of Imaging Viewer & DesktopLink on single Workstation client
OpenText Archiving & Document Access for SAP
- Setup/Upgrade
Depending upon the software pre-requisites for implementing OpenText Extended ECM 10.5.0, an upgrade might be advised for the pre-requisite software eg Java, Tomcat, database, system operating system.
- Installation of Extended Archive Server & Enterprise Library Services
- Installation of OpenText Archiving and Document Access (ADA) for SAP Solutions Basis (OTEXBAS) & ERP (OTEXERP)add on components
- Setup of Administration client Workstation Configuration
- Generic configuration for Extended Archive Server
- Configure Content Repository for documents
- Testing
- Check connectivity setup with the SAP system
- Check connectivity and certificate setup for the content repository
OpenText Content Server
- Setup
- Installation of pre-requisite software for the OpenText Content Server
- Setup and configure IIS for Content Server
- Installation of Content Server modules
- Installation of patches for Content Server (inclusive of patches for Enterprise Library Server)
- Baseline Configuration
- Configuration of Enterprise Library Services (ELS)
- Configuration of OpenText Directory Services (OTDS)
- Configuration of Extended Archive Server
- Creation of Storage provider & storage rule
- Enabling Certificates, creating application, removing undeleteWS from ELS config in RCS
- Testing
- Testing of baseline configuration setup
- Administration
- Setting up background Jobs for Invoice release, WF clean up, Updating of report tables
- User authorization by company code, customer number
- Notification/Email configuration, if required
Extended ECM (ECMLink)
- Setup
- Check pre-requisite software components for ECMLink
- Installation of SAP add-on package for ECMLink (OTEXRL)
- Technical Configuration
- Configuration of SAP Activator in Content Server
- Post installation tasks in ELS, SAP

- Execution Infrastructure Diagnostic Program to verify connectivity

- Preparing functional setup for business workspaces, references and document declarations
