SYSTEMS ADMIN/MICROSOFT/CISCO/NATO/SC CLEARED/IMMEDIATE START

RATE: € P/D

LOCATION: Sicily (Sigonella)

DURATION: 6 months (initially)

Skills required:

- Vocational training at higher level and at least 8 years post related experience, knowledge of CISCO Routing, switching, systems administration, technical troubleshooting of PC and Laptops; English working level.

- Hands on, flexible, team player, advanced CISCO and Microsoft systems knowledge, attention to detail, task/deadline oriented, customer focus, responsible and works with minimum supervision

Duties:

- Acts as the first and second line of support for end user hardware and software trouble tickets by ensuring that tickets are resolved in a timely manner

- Assist customers in troubleshooting & identifying the problems at the root of technical CIS issues

- Coordinates the hands-on implementation of centrally delivered CIS projects locally

- Executing assigned work orders, often under the direction and guidance of centralized services, to provide local intervention to assure SLA targets are sustained.

- Providing superior customer service experience utilising effective communication techniques

- Install and configure Desktop and Mobile Services and application support.

- Performing advanced analysis and troubleshooting of Desktop Services, in support of incident management processes.

- Performing testing and evaluation of supported hardware and software (firmware and drivers)

- Monitoring and recommending changes in Desktop Service life cycle configuration to enhance the customer experience.

- Performing Incident Support Request life cycle services affecting end-users (ie Creating, reporting, tracking, resolving and closing Incidents).

- Support team members through collaborative actions to enhance the customer experience.

- Perform corrective actions, under direction of the Section Head, to support Problem Management.

- Contribute to recommendations to the Continued Service Improvement, and/or procurement processes for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of approved equipment.

- Perform other duties within the NCI Agency's area of business as may be required.

NATO Secret
